Job summary

Nscale, Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Senior Network Operator to keep our global network available, fast and secure. You will monitor health, resolve incidents, and implement changes during maintenance windows.

You will mentor junior operators, coordinate with engineers and vendors, and contribute to continuous improvements, alert tuning and runbooks. This role requires 3–5 years in ops, CCNA/JNCIA, and willingness to work rotating night shifts; we offer competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in network operations or similar infrastructure role.
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT knowledge.
• Experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• Hands-on with enterprise devices from Cisco, Juniper, Arista.
• Familiar with ITIL incident/change processes.
• CCNA, JNCIA or equivalent certification.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor LAN, WAN, data center and cloud network infrastructure 24/7.
• Triage, troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1–2 incidents.
• Escalate complex or high-severity incidents with clear diagnostics.
• Lead the response to service outages during your shift.
• Maintain change-management processes and runbooks.
• Collaborate with network engineering and vendors.
