Job summary

AMD is seeking an experienced technology leader to head its globally distributed Network Engineering and 24x7 Operations. You will guide a team of about 90 engineers and contractors to deliver a secure, resilient network for tens of thousands of users and hundreds of thousands of endpoints worldwide.

You will drive an observability-first, AI-enabled operating model with a focus on automation, incident management, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Significant leadership experience in large, globally distributed network environments.
Strong understanding of enterprise network architecture and operations.

Responsibilities

Lead a globally distributed team of ~90 network engineers and 24x7 operators.
Oversee performance, availability, security, and continuous improvement of AMD’s global data and voice network.
Manage major network incidents with clear communication and root-cause resolution.
Drive Incident, Change, and Problem Management to meet SLAs and improve reliability.
Define and execute global network strategy, observability, automation, and AI-enabled operations.
