Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) seeks a visionary Senior Director of AI Data Center Infrastructure Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, deployment, and operation of next-generation AI data centers and large-scale compute environments.

This executive role requires a proven track record in leading large engineering teams, spanning hardware, software, networking, and operations, to deliver scalable AI infrastructure that supports AMD’s internal and customer initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, deploying, and operating large-scale data center environments.
• Leadership of engineering organizations with large multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience scaling AI, cloud, HPC, or enterprise data center infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of AI infrastructure, server architectures, and rack-scale system design.

Responsibilities

• Define AMD's end-to-end AI data center infrastructure strategy and scalability planning.
• Lead architecture and deployment for thousands of servers and accelerators.
• Drive power, cooling, space, capacity planning, and operational readiness.
• Establish networking architectures, SDN, and interconnect technologies for AI HPC environments.
• Lead a global organization of 50–75 engineers with focus on innovation and execution.
