Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a highly motivated Modernization Project Manager to oversee coordination of activities on multiple modern installation projects. This role focuses on ensuring on-time delivery, budgets, safety and regulatory compliance while meeting customer expectations.

You will work with internal sales, superintendents, and leadership, manage contract administration and billing, analyze changes, and communicate with contractors, owners, architects, and authorities to keep

Qualifications

• 3+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination of activities on multiple modernization installation projects
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget while meeting technical and safety standards
• Coordinate contract activities from award to completion and review progress
• Communicate with client representatives, general contractors, owners, and authorities about project design, preparations, and scheduling
• Manage billing, payments, RFIs, and change orders; maximize project cash flow
• Interpret contract documents and cost changes for accuracy
• Analyze situations and develop contingencies for estimates
