Job summary

Plante Moran, PLLC is seeking a Global Mobility Senior Specialist to own and oversee immigration, international travel, cross-border work, and global mobility programs. You will partner with immigration counsel, manage compliance, and drive process improvements to support international business needs and talent movement.

The role requires leading projects, coordinating across HR, payroll, tax, and legal teams, and building governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Business, Legal Studies, Public Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of global mobility, immigration, HR compliance, or related experience.
• Experience with employment-based immigration processes and work authorization programs.
• Experience with international assignments and cross-border work arrangements.
• Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.
• Experience with HRIS, case management, and reporting tools; Workday and SharePoint preferred.
• Professional services or multinational firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment-based immigration programs and cases (e.g., H-1B, L-1, PERM) with counsel.
• Serve as primary liaison for immigration matters, coordinating deadlines and documentation.
• Oversee I-9 compliance activities, audits, and file management.
• Coordinate international travel, visas, and global mobility activities.
• Lead global mobility initiatives from intake to completion.
• Support international expansion by coordinating HR compliance across functions.
• Establish and improve global mobility policies and procedures.
• Manage program operations, budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor activity and costs.
• Advise staff and leaders on global mobility matters.
