Job summary

Samsung Electronics America is seeking a Global Mobility Manager to lead a team supporting US expatriates, foreign nationals, and relocation programs from the Plano, TX office. This role oversees background checks, I-9s, PERM and visa processes, and vendor management to ensure compliance and smooth onboarding.

Responsibilities include managing a 6+ person team, coordinating with leadership, and driving process improvements while ensuring timely service delivery and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of government regulations, compliance, and industry trends related to talent transition and immigration.
• Experience managing PERM, I-9 verifications, and visas.
• Experience with relocations policy creation, implementation, and oversight.
• Minimum 6 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree acceptable.
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 6+ contractors and/or RFTs handling background checks, relocations, global mobility, foreign nationals, and expatriates.
• Provide onboarding support to EXPATS for US onboarding, including government documents and appearances.
• Provide orientation and onboarding support to EXPATS upon arrival, including housing assistance.
• Vendor and program management for relocation policies, practices, and compliance.
• Vendor and program management for background checks and I-9 policies and adjudication.
• Maintain a strong functional team through recruitment, training, coaching and team building.
• Lead subsidiary HR meetings and be the face/contact of the Shared Service Center for Talent Transition/Global Mobility items.
• Ensure quality of work and SLAs are met; partner with leadership on best practices.
