Job summary

Alltrista Plastics LLC is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales of medical packaging and related products. You will develop territory plans, manage leads and quotes, and grow relationships with key customers across the medical and healthcare markets.

The role requires 5–7 years in B2B medical sales, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Travel to/global customers is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years B2B sales in the medical market.
• Thorough understanding of medical/healthcare applications and needs.
• Knowledge of medical regulatory requirements (QSR, ISO 13485).
• Self-motivated with strong planning, organization and communication to drive actions remotely.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration across the organization.
• Proficient use of computers for planning, analysis, reporting and management.
• Excellent written, verbal and nonverbal communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a plan to achieve the sales target for the territory.
• Provide reporting for leads, quotes issued, closed opportunities, and pipeline.
• Identify potential new customers in medical/healthcare packaging and manage existing customers to grow business.
• Support global customers with multiple locations.
• Apply value selling to optimize pricing and build trusted advisor relationships.
• Use Stage Gate process to manage and execute the sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with inside sales and cross‑functional teams to quote and close new business.
• Prepare and present customer and corporate presentations and build strong customer relationships.
• Work with Program Management to commercialize new opportunities.
• Participate in contract negotiations to protect investments and terms.
• Leverage company strengths to meet customer needs.
