Job summary

Alltrista Plastics LLC, a Jadex Inc. subsidiary, seeks an Account Manager to lead external and internal relationships, driving growth with existing customers and new opportunities in medical/healthcare packaging markets. You will manage cross-functional teams and leverage value selling to optimize pricing and solutions.

The role involves travel and coordination across Operations, Quality, Legal, Finance, and Planning/Logistics to quote and close new business.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of professional B2B sales/business development experience in medical market for a manufacturing company.
• Thorough understanding of medical/healthcare market; relationships with major customers in these markets are essential.
• Knowledge of medical regulatory agency requirements (QSR and ISO 13485) and quality systems as it applies to medical devices and pharmaceutical products.
• Willingness to travel >50% of work time, including EU and U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute plan to achieve the sales target for the territory.
• Identify potential new customers for consumable medical/healthcare products and packaging; manage existing customers to grow business.
• Support global customers with multiple locations.
• Apply “value selling” to optimize pricing and provide solutions; position as trusted advisor.
• Utilize Stage Gate process to manage and execute sales pipeline.
• Partner with inside sales/customer care; quote and close new business with cross functional teams.
• Prepare and present customer and corporate presentations; create satisfied customers on new programs.
• Work with Program Management to commercialize new opportunities.
• Participate in contract negotiations to protect company investments.
