Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Columbus, OH, AWS is seeking a Global Product Lifecycle Engineer to own mechanical infrastructure for data center cooling products.

You will collaborate with the product development team to gain deep understanding of every facet of each product as it's developed and tested, and then own it through its operational life. You will work with suppliers and internal teams worldwide to drive design improvements, lead remediation when issues arise, and help scale operations

Formación

• 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems.
• 6+ years of experience developing Mechanical and/or Mechanical Cooling Products.
• Experience with cooling systems design and deployment.
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience reading construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work across multiple geographic zones.

Responsabilidades

• Provide mechanical infrastructure support to AWS data centers.
• Collaborate with product development to understand product life cycle.
• Own mechanical product from development through operations.
• Work with global suppliers and manufacturers.
• Lead root cause analysis and remediation.
• Support operations including failure mode analysis.
• Communicate complex systems clearly to stakeholders.
• Travel ~30%, domestic and some international.
