Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Global Product Lifecycle Engineer for data center liquid cooling infrastructure. You will own engineering from development through operation, partnering with product teams and suppliers to drive reliability and cost efficiency across multiple data center locations.

The role includes travel (~30%), collaboration with global teams, and ownership of design changes and continuous improvement of cooling products.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer License (PE) preferred.
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.

Responsibilities

• Possess strong engineering judgement and provide recommendations amid uncertainty.
• Review, update, and approve equipment submittals.
• Work with global liquid cooling equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
• Build trust and relationships with stakeholders (reliability, operations, design, compliance).
• Understand and explain complex systems in clear language.
• Support Operations including failure mode and root cause analysis, maintenance and troubleshooting.
