Job summary

Gulf Agency Company seeks a Documentation Specialist in Houston, TX. You will manage documentation for multiple principals across LNG, LPG, petroleum products, and other maritime sectors.

Daily data entry and export/import filings will be core responsibilities alongside coordinating with our network of GAC offices. You will collaborate across teams to ensure accuracy, timely filing, and compliance with CBP and vessel movement processes, while supporting customers with setup and documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of data entry experience; AES, AMS and eNOA/Ds familiarity.
• Experience in generating Bills of Lading and Certificates of Origin.
• Import/export knowledge and maritime industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic IT skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with ability to review and present documentation to the client for approval.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and file Import, Export, Electronic Notice of Arrival and Departure, and export documentation for vessels.
• File Export entries with Customs and Border Protection for all vessels exporting cargo.
• File vessel Electronic Notice of Arrival and Departure notices with the National Vessel Movement Center.
• Assist customers with setting up a Standard Alpha Carrier Code and coordinate with the software provider for filing setup.
