Job summary

PSA BDP in the Houston area is seeking an Import/Export Specialist to manage documentation and act as a liaison between shippers, carriers, and U.S. Customs. You will coordinate customs clearance and ensure compliance with export/import rules, delivering accurate paperwork and timely shipments.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of relevant experience, a college degree, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office; you will work in a fast-paced team environment and support process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• A college degree is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and organization skills; attention to detail.
• Team work is strongly desired; familiar with customs clearance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as focal point of contact for existing and new customers.
• Daily arrangement of customs clearance, and monitor the customs brokers daily procedure & reports.
• Implement SOP perfectly to meets customer specific requirement.
• Working with Coordinator/Documentation in terms of System data entry and checking.
• Invoice preparing, cost checking and presenting, job checking and closing.
• Support manger to meet with customer for better communication, efficient cooperation, or removing the misunderstanding, etc.
• Complete other related jobs assigned by the team leader.
