Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal Deutschland GmbH is seeking an hourly contractor to manage M365 governance, platform administration, L3 support, and strategic project delivery for a global 14,000+ user tenant. You will join a fast-paced Microsoft Enterprise Solutions team and handle escalations, build knowledge base content, and support governance initiatives.

The role requires extensive M365 expertise, strong documentation and communication skills, and the ability to work asynchronously with a US-based team

Qualifications

• M365 platform administration across SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, and Power Platform in a large enterprise (10,000+ users preferred).
• Power Platform administration including Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, DLP policies, and environment provisioning.
• AvePoint Cloud Governance experience or similar workspace lifecycle management tooling.
• Microsoft Purview familiarity: DLP, Sensitivity Labels, Retention Policies.
• Entra ID (Azure AD) management: security groups, dynamic groups, app registrations.
• ServiceNow ticket management and KB article authoring.
• Strong documentation skills to create SOPs and knowledge base articles.

Responsibilities

• Resolve L3 tickets, following SOPs; escalate when licensing or business decisions are required.
• Document tribal knowledge as ServiceNow KB articles and SOPs; expand documentation.
• Governance tasks across M365 Workstream Tracker, Governance SharePoint lists, and Power Platform/Copilot governance.
• Monitor AvePoint governance operations and Purview tasks; assess impact for leadership.
• Coordinate ITAM license reservations and monitor tenant storage trends; escalate as needed.
• Support strategic projects; coordinate data gathering and implementation steps.
