Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an hourly contractor for the Microsoft Enterprise Solutions Team to manage M365 governance, platform administration, L3 support, and strategic project delivery across a 14,000+ user global tenant.

You will resolve L3 tickets, document solutions, and contribute to governance and BASU initiatives under senior leadership, with asynchronous collaboration with a US-based team.

Qualifications

• Experience with M365 platform across SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, and Power Platform in large enterprises.
• Power Platform administration including Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, DLP policies, and environment provisioning.
• AvePoint Cloud Governance experience or similar workspace lifecycle management tooling.
• Microsoft Purview familiarity including DLP, Sensitivity Labels, Retention Policies.
• Entra ID (Azure AD) concepts like security groups, dynamic groups, app registrations.
• ServiceNow ticket management and KB article authoring.
• Strong documentation skills to create SOPs and knowledge base articles for L1/L2 audiences.
• Excel proficiency for tracker maintenance, data analysis, and reporting.
• Ability to troubleshoot M365 platform issues and provide runbooks and recommendations.
• Strong written communication with stakeholders across global BUs.

Responsibilities

• Resolve L3 tickets independently where SOPs exist and escalate when needed.
• Investigate tickets without SOPs using M365 knowledge and escalate for complex licensing or business impacts.
• Document tribal knowledge and ticket resolutions as ServiceNow KB articles and SOPs.
• Governance tasks across M365 Workstream Tracker and governance lists, with guidance from leadership.
• Monitor AvePoint governance operations and Purview tasks; assess feature impacts and report to leadership.
• Coordinate ITAM license reservations and monitor tenant storage trends for procurement decisions.
• Support strategic projects for the MICROSOFT ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS team and contribute to dynamic initiatives.
