Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking an experienced corporate/M&A attorney to deliver business‑oriented legal services across global transactions. You will manage deals from inception to closing, coordinate due diligence, and advise senior leaders on strategic matters across the enterprise.

The role requires strong drafting, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to work with multiple internal teams and external counsel to protect the company’s objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–8 years of experience as a lawyer with M&A and corporate practice.
• Experience leading domestic and international M&A transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiating abilities across deal documents.
• Ability to manage outside counsel and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, business‑oriented legal advice on major transactions.
• Independently manage M&A from inception to closing, including post‑closing integration.
• Lead due diligence and identify material legal risks for transaction protections.
• Partner with Corporate Development, Strategy, Finance and other teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Direct outside counsel and control legal spend while maintaining deal ownership.
