Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a corporate/M&A lawyer to deliver business-oriented legal services and strategic counseling on significant transactions across its global organization. The role requires managing domestic and international deals from inception through closing and post-closing integration.

You will draft and negotiate complex agreements, lead due diligence, and coordinate with Corporate Development, Strategy, Finance and other teams while working with outside counsel to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have 4–8 years of experience as a lawyer with expertise in one or more specialty areas of legal practice.
• Ability to provide business-oriented, practical legal advice on significant transactions.
• Experience leading and coordinating due diligence and negotiations across complex deals.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic counseling on significant corporate transactions across the organization.
• Independently manage domestic and international M&A and other transactions from inception through closing and post-closing integration.
• Lead legal due diligence and coordinate with outside counsel to manage budgets and risks.
• Draft and negotiate confidentiality agreements, LOIs/term sheets, definitive agreements and ancillary documents.
• Collaborate with Corporate Development, Strategy, and Finance teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
