Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Global Operations Supervisor in the United States to lead a portfolio of dispatch and logistics projects across air and ocean shipments. You will coordinate with Customs Broker, Importer, and Customer, ensuring timely dispatches, tracking, and accuracy across the Navigator system.

Candidates should have 3+ years dispatching and Import/Export experience, DG certification, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years dispatching experience.
• 3+ years Import/Export experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Knowledge of air and ocean carriers.
• DG certification to handle DG shipments.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Customs Broker, Importer and Customer for Import Shipments.
• Update special tracking and accounting reports for customers.
• Ensure dispatch is aware of special instructions/cut-offs.
• Book air shipments with Pilot Gateway teams.
• Book ocean shipments with co-loaders and carriers.
• Process DG shipments including checklist.
• Filing of AES and accurate entry into Navigator.
• Track and trace shipments; communicate with customers and sales.
• Billing: closing out shipments timely; print and respond promptly.
• Develop and update policies/procedures; train new employees.
