Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Supervisor, Operation in the United States to lead daily dispatch for pilot teams, coordinating drivers, routes, and equipment. The role emphasizes on-time delivery, safety, and cost efficiency while maintaining strong customer relationships and collaboration with warehouse and leadership teams.

Responsibilities include supervising dispatch personnel, conducting daily meetings, and driving KPI improvements in OTD, route efficiency, and driver productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of transportation, dispatch, or logistics experience.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dispatch operations for all delivery routes and linehaul movements.
• Coordinate driver assignments, route planning, and equipment utilization.
• Monitor delivery progress and address service disruptions.
• Lead dispatch team and conduct daily huddles and meetings.
• Ensure safety and DOT compliance and maintain records.
