Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Supervisor, Operation to lead daily dispatch for the Pilot Team, ensuring on-time deliveries and high levels of safety and service. You will coordinate drivers, plan routes, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in transportation or logistics, strong leadership, and experience with dispatch software. This full-time position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of transportation, dispatch, or logistics experience.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with TMS and dispatch software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatch activities for all delivery routes and linehaul movements.
• Coordinate driver assignments, route planning, and equipment utilization.
• Monitor delivery progress and address service disruptions.
• Communicate pickup and delivery schedules to customers.
• Optimize routes to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Maintain dispatch records and reporting.
• Supervise dispatch personnel and drivers; lead daily huddles and meetings.
