Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee inbound, outbound, and product slotting activities, along with daily customer communications. You will manage labor scheduling, space utilization, equipment needs and lead a team under the direction of the Operations Manager.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3 years in logistics, 1 year supervisory experience, and forklift training. The role may require overtime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or training is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound, outbound, and product slotting activities.
• Plan labor scheduling, space utilization, and equipment needs.
• Hire, train and evaluate staff; manage performance and development.
• Ensure operations meet KPI’s, safety, and quality standards.
• Communicate with senior management and clients; implement cost-saving measures.
