Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP is seeking a Business Development Manager to act as a dedicated liaison to one or more groups within the Global Litigation Practice. You will partner with group leaders to craft and execute business development strategies, manage marketing collateral, databases, and proposal workflows, and help drive cross-selling across the firm.

You will lead proposals, coordinate with Market Intelligence, and support events and rankings submissions to raise the practice's profile.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of professional marketing or business development experience.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Excellent writing, proofreading, and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Consult with practice/industry leaders on development of marketing and client development plans.
Attend and contribute to group meetings and planning sessions.
Track ROI of initiatives and provide evaluation for repeat/scale consideration.
Identify and recommend BD opportunities using data analytics and market trends.
Coordinate and refine BD infrastructure: collateral, databases, and tracking.
