Job summary

Glenmont Group Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to partner with our Litigation Practice groups, shaping strategic initiatives to drive client engagement, brand visibility, and industry recognition.

You will lead proposals, manage pitches, and coordinate internal resources to deliver targeted submissions. You will oversee rankings, awards submissions, and event participation while mentoring junior teammates and aligning BD activities with firm growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of professional marketing, business development, or relevant experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, business/finance, or related field.
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Demonstrated experience in managing proposals, pitches, and strategic marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with practice and industry leaders to develop tailored marketing and client development plans.
• Lead and manage proposals, pitches, and RFP responses, ensuring compelling and targeted submissions.
• Spearhead initiatives to enhance the practice's profile through rankings, awards, and event participation.
• Coordinate with internal teams on industry research, marketing collateral, and strategic client programs.
• Manage and refine business development processes, including experience databases, contact lists, and opportunity tracking.
• Serve as the primary contact for practice/industry meetings, preparing agendas and developing engaging content.
• Oversee the preparation of submissions for rankings and awards, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
• Support firm visibility through PR, professional organization involvement, and event planning.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development and skills.
