Amerlux, a leader in architectural lighting, seeks a Buyer for our Oakland NJ facility on-site five days a week. You will procure materials, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate with engineering, production, and logistics to support manufacturing and new product introductions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in purchasing, manufacturing experience, and familiarity with ERP/MRP tools (Oracle or SAP). Prior experience in lighting is a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor Degree.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Purchasing/Procurement.
• Manufacturing Industry experience required, including use of Supply Chain and ERP/MRP technology applications (Oracle or SAP preferred).
• Lighting Industry experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Source and procure components for manufacturing lighting fixtures.
• Identify, qualify, and manage domestic and international suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planning.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development for new products and changes.
• Coordinate with logistics and customs on import documentation and schedules.
• Maintain purchasing records and ERP/MRP data.
