Job summary

Current Lighting is seeking a Production Buyer to monitor material flow and purchase components for timely manufacturing. You will plan and adjust schedules based on MRP forecasts and production needs, coordinating with supervisors to ensure commitments are met.

The role requires 4+ years in manufacturing buying, SAP/MRP experience, and strong communication. A high school diploma is required, with technical or college training preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum four+ years as a manufacturing buyer.
• Experience with computerized production/inventory control systems.
• College/technical degree preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material flow and adjust production schedules.
• Plan purchasing to meet weekly production needs.
• Coordinate with supervisors to discuss schedules and issues.
• Resolve supply problems with key areas of supply chain.
• Maintain safety procedures and company policies.
