Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Lighting Project Manager to partner with electrical project managers for selecting, procuring, and distributing lighting fixtures on construction projects.

The role focuses on collaborating with customers on product selection, negotiating vendors, and coordinating timely delivery to meet milestones. A degree or equivalent experience is required, with strong communication and MS Office skills essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Knowledge of the lighting supply chain process, or similar construction distribution experience.
• General knowledge of electrical contracting, lighting design, distribution and construction processes.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail oriented and efficient.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.

• Non-smoker.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the electrical project manager and customer on product selection.
• Research, negotiate and procure lighting vendors and materials with cost and quality comparisons.
• Directly manage the distribution process of the selected product in the most cost effective and timely manner.
• Plan and schedule lighting resources to meet project milestones.
• Manage project related correspondence and documents.
