Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Lighting Project Manager to partner with electrical project managers in selecting, procuring, and distributing lighting fixtures for construction projects in the United States. You will work with customers to select products, negotiate with vendors, and oversee distribution to meet milestones.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of the lighting supply chain, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Knowledge of lighting supply chain or similar construction distribution is preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical contracting, lighting design, distribution and construction processes.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail oriented and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Work with the electrical project manager and customer on product selection.
• Research, negotiate and procure lighting vendors and materials with cost and quality comparisons.
• Directly manage the distribution process of the selected product in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Plan and schedule lighting resources to meet project milestones.
• Manage project-related correspondence and documents.
