Goodwin is seeking a seasoned Business Operations professional to support Industry and Practice Groups on firm-wide initiatives. You will work with senior leaders to manage meetings, information flow, and project delivery in a dynamic, global environment.

The role demands legal background or credentialing, excellent collaboration, and a tech-savvy mindset to optimize operations and protect sensitive information. A strong candidate thrives across diverse groups and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years' experience in Business Operations/Practice Management in a large law firm.
• J.D. and experience as an attorney, in a large law firm preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Well-rounded and versatile — a skilled, adaptable operator able to work effectively as a facilitator across multiple Business Operations teams.
• Facile with technology, with the ability to learn and adopt new tools and systems quickly.
• Develop and foster positive, collaborative working relationships.
• Exercise sound judgment while respecting, protecting, and maintaining highly confidential and sensitive information.
• Manage projects and tasks effectively, applying strong delegation and organizational skills.
• Apply creative problem-solving and effective people-management skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel. Ability to learn and utilize additional programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Managing Director and Industry Business Lead to manage operational and strategic aspects of the business.
• Oversee internal organization, meetings, information and data management, and firm processes.
• Support budgeting and cross-functional optimization of Business Operations.
• Provide cross-group operational support and maintain calendars and reminders for partners.
