Job summary

Goodwin's Global Operations Team is seeking a Research Services Manager to lead the firm's research function, delivering timely, accurate, and actionable information to support matters. This role provides daily supervision, guidance, and support to the Research Analyst team and partners with Practice Groups and Knowledge Management to align research tools and training.

You will oversee service standards, triage workflows, and escalation processes while promoting self-service and white-glove

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MLIS/MLS strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible legal research experience.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Expertise with major legal research platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily legal and business research services for attorneys and staff.
• Provide supervision, prioritization, coaching, and quality review to analysts.
• Develop service standards, workflows, and escalation protocols.
• Generate metrics and insights to inform resourcing and strategy.
