Goodwin’s Global Operations Team is seeking a Research Services Manager to lead the firm’s research function, ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable information for attorneys and business professionals.

You will supervise the Research Analyst team, coordinate with KM and Practice Management, and drive adoption of research tools and training across the firm. The role emphasizes high-quality output and client-focused service.

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years of legal research experience in a large firm or corporate setting.
• Supervisory experience: 2+ years managing a team or projects.
• Proficiency with major legal and business research platforms and ability to learn new tools.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily research services delivery for attorneys and business professionals.
• Provide supervision and coaching to the Research Analyst team.
• Establish service standards, intake workflows, and escalation protocols.
• Clarify objectives with attorneys and translate findings into concise deliverables.
• Coordinate with KM, Practice Management, and IT to align tools with needs.
• Manage subscription needs, trials, licensing, and renewals.
• Develop research guides and promote self-service while maintaining high-touch support.
• Monitor trends and recommend new data sources and process improvements.
• Create metrics and insights to inform resourcing and strategy.
• Support continuity planning for research services.
