Job summary

Sasol in Lake Charles, LA invites a senior Learning & Development leader to design and govern global technical, regulatory, and compliance learning programs.

You will own the LMS strategy, curriculum architecture, analytics, and governance, leading a multinational team to ensure audit-ready training across Operations, Maintenance, and SHE.

The role requires 10-12+ years in industrial learning, 5+ years of people leadership, and a track record of improving safety and performance through learning.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical, operational, SHE, learning, or compliance training programs in industrial settings.
• Ability to design scalable learning frameworks and governance.
• Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, governance, delivery, and improvement of learning programs across International Chemicals.
• Own learning systems, governance frameworks, and regulatory training & audits.
• Define instructional design standards and curriculum architecture.
• Lead and develop a global learning operations team.
• Oversee LMS strategy, enhancements, and data integrity.
• Monitor learning data, analytics, and compliance reporting.
