Job summary

Covington & Burling LLP is seeking a Senior Manager of Learning Strategy & Governance to build and deliver a best-in-class training program for business professionals. The role involves designing a scalable learning strategy, partnering with HR and department leaders, and overseeing LMS governance to ensure high-quality, compliant training across offices.

The position requires at least three years of management experience in learning and development, strong facilitation, and expertise with LMS

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant management experience in training, learning and development, HR, or related function.

Responsibilities

• Design, launch, and continuously improve a firmwide training strategy and curriculum for business professionals.
• Conduct needs assessments using stakeholder input, performance insights, employee feedback, and surveys.
• Develop and deliver engaging training experiences using blended formats (live virtual, in-person, e-learning).
• Partner with HR leadership and department chiefs to create content reflecting priorities, standards and culture.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and learning platforms; evaluate content quality and ROI.
