Job summary

Helix Electric Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design and develop learning experiences, including courses and video training, aligned with business needs.

You will collaborate with SMEs to model objectives, create assessments, and apply Storyline, Captivate, and Camtasia across ILT, virtual, and e-learning formats.

This role emphasizes teamwork, project management, and leveraging an LMS to deliver high-quality training across the organization.

Qualifications

• Four-Year College Degree (BA or BS) or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of instructional design experience with a focus on digital and blended learning solutions.
• Experience in ILT, Virtual, and E-Learning spaces.
• Strong skills in E-Learning Authoring Tools: Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia.
• Proven track record of leading and executing large-scale learning projects.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and virtual learning platforms.
• Balance competing priorities while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Needs assessment to identify objectives, audiences, and strategies.
• Design and develop curriculum frameworks for online, blended, and in-person formats.
• Project manage instructional design initiatives from conception to completion.
• Create, review, and revise educational content for accuracy and relevance.
• Integrate learning technologies to enhance training experiences.
• Collaborate with SMEs, trainers, and stakeholders to meet outcomes.
• Design and implement assessments to evaluate program effectiveness.
