Job summary

TransPerfect is seeking an Account Executive to develop new business relationships and serve as the first level of support to existing clients. You will lead regional business development, prospect clients through internet research, referrals, and events, and close new business with strategic negotiations.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of sales experience, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, excellent English communication, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• 1–3 years of sales experience.
• Account management experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Proven sales life cycle experience from lead generation through closing.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead regional business development activities to drive new revenue.
• Develop prospective clients through internet research, trade show lists, referrals, and directories.
• Foster and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other outreach methods.
• Formulate sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Present TransPerfect's solutions in meetings (one‑on‑one, group, online, in-person).
• Negotiate rates and deadlines with clients.
• Educate clients about translation processes, rates, turnaround times, and competitors' offerings.
• Develop regional/national account strategies to reach revenue and margin goals.
• Understand the capabilities and competitive advantages of TransPerfect's services.
