Job summary

QPS, LLC, a leading CRO, seeks a VP & Head of Global Lab Business Development to drive growth across Neuropharmacology, DMPK, Toxicology, Bioanalysis, and Translational Medicine services. This fully remote, US-based role reports to the President & CEO and sits on the Senior Leadership Team.

Lead global BD, develop regional leaders, manage budgets, and guide client collaborations from initial contact to contract execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales experience in CRO/pharma services.
• 5+ years in sales management, including staff development.
• Experience leading BD across laboratory services and bioanalysis.
• Proven track record of winning new business and guiding complex opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of the CRO market and drug development practices.

Responsibilities

• Set global Lab BD strategy and regional plans aligned with growth.
• Lead regional BD leaders, staffing, training, and performance management.
• Oversee sales activity, forecasts, CRM usage, and budget adherence.
• Collaborate with scientific, laboratory, proposal, and finance teams to craft competitive solutions.
• Represent QPS at client meetings and industry events.
