Job summary

AGC Biologics is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to drive growth within assigned regions and business segments. You will identify, evaluate, and secure high-value CDMO partnerships, shaping client relationships and negotiating complex agreements.

The role involves leadership and coaching of BD teams, building a robust pipeline, and collaborating across technical, legal, marketing, and operations to ensure successful deal progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to adjust communication style to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify, lead, and close new development and manufacturing contracts to drive visibility, growth, and profitability.
• Develop and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with revenue and pipeline goals.
• Implement targeted commercial strategies to expand market share and strengthen AGC Biologics’ competitive position.
• Lead client site visits, including planning, cross-functional coordination, on-site discussions, and follow-up.
• Provide market intelligence from client interactions, competitive assessments, and industry events to inform strategy.
