Job summary

Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. seeks an Operational Key Account Manager III to lead day-to-day operations for assigned accounts, coordinating with operations, sales and internal stakeholders. The role acts as the operational SME and may supervise other OKAMs, driving customer satisfaction and growth.

You will manage cross-functional teams, monitor KPIs, and develop strategies to meet client needs across global or regional scope with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of operational experience in international freight forwarding or logistics.
• At least four years of IFF operational account management experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the logistics industry.
• High School Diploma/GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Experience managing direct reports preferred.
• Ability to use various operational systems and reporting tools.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to resolve issues and maximize satisfaction.
• Ability to develop strategies to meet customer needs.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
• Highly organized and results oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee international freight forwarding operations as primary resource.
• Act as primary point of contact for non-routine operational matters.
• Monitor and enforce SOPs across branch offices.
• Analyze trends and recommend operational improvements.
• Propose new services to support client growth.
• Coordinate with product, operations, and vendors on opportunities.
• Maintain regular communication to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Provide support and leadership to the team.
• Lead meetings with customers as required.
