Job summary

Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. is seeking an Operational Key Account Manager III in Kent, WA. The role leads day-to-day operations for key customer accounts, coordinating with operations, sales and internal teams to drive service quality and growth. The position may mentor other OKAMs and work hybrid or on-site per policy.

The candidate will monitor SOPs, analyze KPIs, and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and operational excellence across global logistics processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of operational experience in the international freight forwarding industry or other relevant logistics/supply chain role.
• At least four years of IFF operational account management experience or IFF departmental management experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the logistics industry.
• Ability to use various operational systems and reporting tools to review, develop and monitor operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational management and direction of a customer account or group of accounts.
• Coordinate with operations, sales and internal stakeholders to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Monitor, update, and enforce SOPs across branch offices and reporting.
• Lead regular conference calls and/or meetings with customers as required.
• Provide leadership and oversight to one or more junior OKAMs and drive account growth.
• Proactively identify opportunities for additional services and quotes to support client growth.
