Job summary

IP House is seeking a Counsel, IP Litigation & Enforcement to support investigations, enforcement, and compliance on a global scale. The role reports to the COO and spans advising, referrals, and civil/criminal action coordination across jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will manage high-volume matters, translate complex legal concepts into plain language, and work across time zones with outside counsel and clients. This is a senior, fully remote/hybrid position with global impact.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in good standing with eligibility to practice in the UK, EU, or US.
• 3–5 years post-qualification experience in private practice, in-house, or public authority.
• Able to work across time zones and jurisdictions with strong written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day legal resource for IP investigation and enforcement teams worldwide.
• Establish standards, decision criteria, and escalation thresholds across jurisdictions; provide training and guidance.
• Advise on evidence sufficiency, collection, documentation, and chain-of-custody for multiple forums.
• Coordinate with local counsel, law enforcement, and regulators; prepare referral packages and legal analyses.
• Track escalated matters, manage scope/budget/timeline with instructing counsel.
