JRG Partners is seeking a Senior IP Counsel to lead global IP strategy, patent portfolio development, and brand protection across markets. You will oversee outside counsel and advise on IP-related contracts while supporting rapid product launches in a tech-forward environment.

The role requires a JD from a US law school, active US bar membership, and 7+ years of IP experience with strong patent expertise in software/gaming. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Competenze

JD from a US law school and bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction.
Admission to at least one state bar.
7+ years in IP law with emphasis on patent work in software, gaming, or related tech.
USPTO registration preferred; drafting patent applications a plus.
Experience managing global patent portfolios and trademark assets.
Experience negotiating technology licensing and IP-related contracts.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Define and drive a comprehensive global IP strategy aligned with business, product and brand objectives, with emphasis on patent protection.
Develop and manage a global patent portfolio across jurisdictions, overseeing prosecution and portfolio lifecycle with outside counsel.
Lead global trademark/brand protection programs and ensure consistent use of assets across markets.
Provide practical guidance on IP-related contract structure, licensing, indemnification and risk allocation.
Collaborate with R&D, product, marketing and business teams to support launches and ongoing IP protection.
