Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one US state.
• 10+ years of litigation experience with focus on patent/IP and complex commercial litigation.
• Experience leading outside counsel, budgeting, and executive-level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end litigation strategy and execution across jurisdictions.
• Advise senior leadership on litigation risk, enforcement, and licensing implications.
• Manage outside counsel with budgeting, staffing, and strategic alignment.
• Collaborate with legal, licensing, finance, product, and technical teams to map exposure and defend Via’s interests.
• Develop practical, business‑oriented dispute resolution recommendations, including settlements.
