Job summary

Partner Company in the United States is seeking a Litigation Counsel with deep experience in sophisticated commercial disputes. You will handle significant ownership across case strategy, discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, and trial preparation, while collaborating with experienced partners on a national, distributed team.

You will work directly with clients, providing practical guidance in a fully remote environment that supports cross-border matters and independent practice growth.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience handling complex commercial litigation matters.
• Trial experience and support/management of litigation through major stages.
• Admission and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Experience with multi-jurisdictional litigation and cross-border commercial matters.
• Some experience litigating in federal courts.
• Strong legal writing skills for dispositive and pre-trial filings.
• Ability to independently manage substantial portions of litigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage significant portions of complex commercial litigation matters with increasing independence and ownership.
• Draft dispositive motions and other pre-trial filings.
• Oversee discovery processes, including strategy development and dispute handling.
• Take and defend depositions and assist witness preparation.
• Support trial, arbitration, and mediation across complex disputes.
• Collaborate with national, distributed team and clients directly.
• Provide practical legal guidance and timely updates to clients.
• Maintain high standards of responsiveness, organization, and judgment.
• Contribute to litigation work across diverse industries and contexts.
