Job summary

Paradigm Information Services is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support a technology and e-commerce client with domestic and international operations. This remote role focuses on litigation management, risk and regulatory compliance, and problem-solving with stakeholders across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D., active U.S. bar admission, and the ability to manage priorities independently while collaborating with a broader team on contracts, governance, privacy, and trade

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in a US state.
• Experience supporting litigation, dispute resolution, risk management, regulatory compliance.
• Strong research, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader team.
• Practical judgment balancing legal risk with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage active and potential litigation, evaluate claims, and coordinate stakeholders.
• Select, retain, and manage outside counsel and other legal providers.
• Monitor litigation budgets and ensure cost-conscious representation.
• Identify legal/regulatory risks and propose practical solutions.
• Support compliance with trade regulations, sanctions, licensing, privacy laws.
• Research laws and translate requirements into clear guidance for staff.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial contracts and agreements.
• Provide guidance on corporate governance, employment, privacy, IP, real estate.
• Prepare written recommendations and guidance for management.
• Maintain corporate entities, licenses, and legal records.
• Support policy development and internal controls.
