Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is hiring for a Director of Business Development in IoT Deployment Services. This remote role covers multiple U.S. cities including Denver, Dallas, Los Angeles, and more, with a focus on sourcing new IoT deployment opportunities and building strategic partnerships.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in B2B BD, strong negotiation skills, and experience selling to enterprise clients. Travel is expected, and Salesforce proficiency is required to manage pipelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B business development with large, multi-stakeholder contracts.
• Proven success building channel partnerships or vendor referrals.
• Experience selling to enterprise tech/real estate teams, device manufacturers, proptech vendors, facilities management, or government.
• Strong commercial acumen; ability to structure deals and negotiate terms.
• Excellent communication; ability to present to C-suite and technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel globally; proficient with CRM and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and pursue global opportunities with emphasis on large-scale IoT deployment programs.
• Develop and manage a high-volume opportunity pipeline across client verticals.
• Engage with C-suite and VP-level decision-makers to create and advance opportunities.
• Build and manage strategic channel partnerships with IoT device manufacturers.
• Lead proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations; define pursuit strategy and pricing.
• Maintain market intelligence on the IoT deployment landscape and identify emerging segments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and maintain Salesforce data; surface cross-sell opportunities.
