JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking an Import Specialist to manage air and ocean import shipments, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver superior service to customers. You will process documents, track shipments, coordinate freight, and support the sales team with quotes and costing.

You will work in a climate-controlled office environment, collaborating with colleagues across departments. Strong communication, organization, and knowledge of US import rules are essential for success.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years’ import handling experience (air/ocean).
• Knowledge of US import regulations preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Experience with CargoWise (C1) is a plus.

Mansioni

• Prepare and process import documents ensuring accuracy.
• Track bookings and shipments, update status and PODs; invoice files.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations.
• Assist with quotes and job costing forecasts.
• Provide responsive customer service and coordinate freight dispatch.
