Job summary

USCOR JAS Forwarding (USA), INC. seeks an Import Operations Specialist to coordinate the full lifecycle of air and ocean import shipments and to support customs brokerage activities.

You will prepare documents, process entries, and ensure timely clearance with CBP and other agencies while maintaining strong customer communication. The role requires 3+ years in import operations with knowledge of CBP regulations, ISF, Incoterms, and cargo documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3+ years in import operations, customs entry processing, or freight forwarding.
• Experience with air and/or ocean import lifecycles and U.S. import regulations.
• Knowledge of ISF, Incoterms, and CBP requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full lifecycle of air and ocean import shipments from origin to final delivery.
• Prepare, review, and process import documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, duties documents).
• Process customs entries and ensure compliance with CBP and other agencies.
• Communicate shipment status, delays, and clearance requirements to customers.
• Work with CBP, carriers, and overseas offices to resolve clearance issues.
