Job summary

Flexport is hiring an Implementation Manager to own and evolve our Implementation Methodology as our ICP product suite expands. This self-starter will build playbooks, lead cross-functional projects end-to-end, and partner with Sales and Operations to get new business live and delivered as sold.

You’ll manage implementation for new accounts and for existing clients, scope and plan projects, coordinate across teams, and ensure readiness to meet timelines while adapting to changing conditions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required with 4+ years in logistics, supply chain management/consulting, or freight forwarding.
• Self-starter who spots gaps and builds solutions before asked.
• Proven track record scoping, planning, and closing cross-functional client projects.
• Strong collaboration and client-facing communication; comfortable owning the room.
• Detail-oriented with bias toward delivering ahead of schedule.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the Implementation Methodology with task definitions, personas, ownership, timing and templates.
• Take first-mover ownership of implementation gaps and create playbooks for new products.
• Partner with Sales and Operations as the client’s primary contact through implementation.
• Lead implementation for new accounts and for existing clients from award to steady-state delivery.
• Scope awarded business and craft the implementation project plan across teams.
• Own the critical path and readiness to deliver as sold on schedule.
• Adapt plans in real time and turn learnings into improvements to the methodology.
• Report status to leadership and develop mitigation plans when blockers arise.
• Close out implementations with post-project reviews and lessons learned.
