Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Major Deal Pursuit Leader to drive the sales process for major ICT outsourcing deals with high value and strategic impact. You will originate, negotiate, and close opportunities, while mobilizing multi-functional teams and engaging executive sponsors to secure favorable terms and outcomes.

You’ll lead planning, content structuring, and delivery governance, managing risk, economics, and escalating decisions with client leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or four+ years of work experience.
Experience in outsourcing, out-tasking, and/or off-shoring negotiations/deals.
Line/matrix management experience with significant multi-function teams.
Experience in leading and closing at least one complex network integration deal with TC V of $25M+.
Willingness to travel up to 75% or less.
A valid Driver’s License.

Defining deliverable structure and content.
Facilitating buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
Directing on-time, quality delivery of work products.
Managing engagement economics.
Managing engagement risk.
Managing day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
Organizing and leading pursuit teams.
Participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process.
Contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
