Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Major Deal Pursuit Leader to drive sales processes and outcomes for major ICT deals with a total contract value over $35M. Location is flexible within Verizon locations; role includes leading pursuit teams, defining deliverables, and managing economics and risk while engaging executive clients.

The incumbent will oversee budgeting, price strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, with travel up to 75% and a history of successful large-scale negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in outsourcing, out-tasking, and/or off-shoring negotiations/deals.
• Line/matrix management experience with significant (30 or more) multi-function teams e.g. legal, bid management, commercial, operations etc.
• Experience in leading and closing at least one complex network integration deal with TCV of twenty five million dollars or more, involving at least two or more of the following: people/asset transfer, contract innovations, partner services, and multi-country requirements, and/or leading, implementing, and operationally managed similar transactions as the end-user.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% or less.
• A valid Driver’s License.
