Ladders is seeking a Compliance & Audit Manager, Global HR Systems to oversee global HR system controls, audits, and regulatory readiness. You will partner with Legal, HR, and Cybersecurity to plan audits and drive remediation in a complex multinational environment.

This remote US-based role emphasizes improving audit automation and scalability while ensuring adherence to internal standards and external requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, or 6 additional years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years of professional work experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
• 5+ years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or internal controls.
• 3+ years of experience with audit methodologies and regulatory compliance requirements.
• 3+ years of experience supporting internal and external audits, including testing and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on control effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR systems compliance and audit programs to ensure regulatory adherence
• Document and assess internal controls and business processes for audit readiness
• Identify and mitigate compliance and operational risks, advising leadership on complex matters
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, and Cybersecurity teams for audit planning and data protection
• Manage audit execution, including testing, documentation, and remediation tracking
• Drive improvements in the audit platform for automation and scalability
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO, payroll, and SOC 1 requirements
