Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Compliance & Audit Manager to join the Global HR Systems team. You will manage operational risk across the HR Systems portfolio and finalize processes that test key compliance controls, providing visibility into the overall compliance posture.

You will lead audit planning, fieldwork, remediation, and reporting while partnering with Cybersecurity, Legal, Privacy, Payroll, and Information Security teams to safeguard employee data and support enterprise audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; six years of additional work experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years of professional work experience in related fields.
• 5+ years in compliance, audit, risk management, governance, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years in audit methodologies, regulatory compliance, and internal control frameworks.
• 3+ years supporting internal and external audits, including testing, evidence collection, remediation, and reporting.
• 3+ years of strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with ability to assess control effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR Systems compliance, audit, and governance programs ensuring regulatory and internal control adherence.
• Document, map, and assess internal controls and processes to support audit readiness and reporting.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate compliance and operational risks; advise leadership on complex matters.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, Privacy, and Cybersecurity on audit planning and data protection activities.
• Oversee audit execution, testing, findings remediation, CAPA investigations, and remediation tracking.
• Drive adoption and improvement of Kainos SmartAudit platform for automation and scalability.
• Lead HR Systems support for ISO, SOC 1, and divisional audit requirements.
• Produce and maintain compliance reporting and audit metrics.
